Clean the Model

Please follow the instructions below to clean the produced model.

Warning

Please read and understand all relevant notice for material thoroughly before using the ethanol.

  • FabWash Cleaning

    Place the model into the FabWash, select the corresponding model material, and confirm to start the cleaning process.

  • Manual Cleaning

    1. Pour an alcohol solution with a concentration of ≥ 75% into the Cleaning box.
    2. Dip a soft brush in clean alcohol and gently scrub the model for about 1 minute.
    3. Replace the alcohol with a clean solution and repeat the above steps, rinsing again until no resin residue remains.

    Caution

    Avoid using hard-bristle brushes to prevent damage to the model surface, which may affect its usability.

  • Ultrasonic Cleaning

    1. Place the model in a beaker filled with an appropriate amount of clean alcohol (concentration ≥ 75%).
    2. Put the beaker into the ultrasonic cleaner (power: 150 W ~ 500 W) and start the cleaning process.
    3. Replace the alcohol with a clean solution and repeat the cleaning once.

    Note

    The recommended cleaning time is 2 minutes. Prolonged cleaning may affect the model's accuracy and performance.

  • Models Printed with SH01 and SH02 Resins:

    1. Place the model in a beaker filled with an appropriate amount of clean medical alcohol (concentration ≈ 95%), ensuring that the alcohol has not been used to clean other models and that the model is fully immersed.
    2. Clean the model in the ultrasonic cleaner (power: 150 ~ 500W) for 90 seconds.
    3. After the first cleaning, use an air gun to blow away any residual resin on the occlusal surface to avoid residue.
    4. Replace the alcohol with a clean solution and clean once more.

    Caution

    • Avoid using hard-bristle brushes to scrub the model surface.
    • If using alcohol with a concentration ≈ 75%, extend the cleaning time to 4 minutes.

Take the model outside of the cleaning box and use an air gun to blow dry the liquid on the surface. Ensure the model surface is completely dry, with no residual alcohol or resin.

Note

After blowing dry, place the model in a cool indoor area and allow it to air dry for at least 5 minutes.
