Adjust the position, rotation, and scale of point clouds / models.

Shortcut:

Space: Rotation / Translation Mode ON / OFF

Shift: Scaling ON / OFF

C: Reset to Center

Enter: Apply

Rotation / Translation Mode

Shortcut:

Press or Space to switch mode ON / OFF.

• Rotation / Translation Mode ON:

  • Left-click + drag: Rotate the point cloud / Mesh.

  • Right-click + drag: Translate the point cloud / Mesh.

  • Mouse wheel: Scale the point cloud / Mesh (if Scaling is enabled).

• Rotation / Translation Mode OFF:

  • Left-click + drag: Rotate the view.

  • Right-click + drag: Pan the view.

  • Mouse wheel: Zoom the view (no changes to point cloud / mesh position / scale).

Scaling

Shortcut: Click or press Shift.

Enable / Disable scaling of the point cloud / mesh dimensions.

Default: Disabled (recommended for scanned data to preserve accuracy).

Reset to Center

Shortcut: Press or C key.

Move the bounding box center of the point cloud / mesh to the world coordinate origin (0,0,0).
