Manage an institution

After login, you can select the role. You have the option to either create a clinic or join an existing clinic created by someone else.

  • Create a clinic: Enter the name and address of the clinic you want to create. You will become the clinic founder . Please refer to the Functions and Permissions for relevant role permissions.

  • Join a clinic: Enter the name of the clinic you want to join. You will join as a dentist or staff member . Please refer to the Functions and Permissions for relevant role permissions.

Note

  • You can choose to join a temporary institution to quickly experience the cloud platform services.
  • You can create or join other clinics later by clicking account on the top navigation bar of the page > Account Settings > Institution information > Create/join institutions .
  • The institution name must be unique.

Set information

The clinic founder or administrator can go to the Institution page to set up the clinic's basic information, customized settings, uniqueness verification information, dental disease templates, and more. Please refer to Institution for more details.

Manage Members

The clinic founder or administrator can go to the Members page to manage the members of the institution. Please refer to Members for more details.

Exit/Dissolve an institution

  • Exit: To leave an institution, click the account on the top navigation bar of the page, then go to Account settings > Institution information . Click the Exit in the operation column, and a confirmation dialog will appear. You can choose to provide a reason for leaving, and then click Confirm to successfully exit the institution.

  • Dissolution: To dissolve an institution, go to the Institution page. Click the ellipsis button in the upper right corner and select Dissolution of institution. A confirmation dialog will appear. After agreeing to the institutional dissolution notice, click Continue to Dissolute to successfully dissolve the institution.

    Note

    • There must be at least one administrator in each institution. When there is only one administrator in the institution, that administrator cannot leave the institution.
    • Only the clinic founder or administrator has the right to dissolve the institution.
