General information

The 3D dental scanner is developed and manufactured by SHINING 3D. It is a 3D dental scanner with powerful functions for multiple applications covering intelligent 3D scanning of impressions, plaster models, articulators, implant abutments, etc. The 3D data with high accuracy can be directly used for restoration, implant and orthodontics. The DentalScan application software is used to output the 3D scan data for subsequent computer-aided design and manufacture of dental restorative materials.

The scanner is mainly used in the following situations:

Single coping, bridges, full anatomic crown, full anatomical bridge, inlay, onlay, inlay bridge, veneer, single wax-up, wax-up bridge, pressed crowns and bridge, post and core, telescopic crown, custom abutments, implant scanbody, removable partial denture, orthodontic cases, full denture, denture replication, provisional crown and bridge.

Workflow

The workflow is designed to provide high quality scans of any shape and size in the dental office or laboratory.

1 Create an order: In the software, create an order with detailed information.

2 Scan model or impression:
Scan the model based on the order created. In this method, 3D data of the model can be obtained more quickly than in traditional methods.

3 CAD design: The restoration is designed by the pre-design.

4 CAM processing: The restorations designed are converted into CNC machining data.

5 Manufacturing: The restoration data is sent to the milling machine or printer for printing.

6 Finish: Post-process the restoration.
