Operating Environment¶

System requirements¶

The computer should meet the minimum requirements to be able to run the scanner and applications. It is also recommended that the Windows system should be up to date to ensure that the USB 3.0 port works properly.

Note

Please update your Windows system, graphics card and USB device drivers before installing the scanning software.
To ensure smooth uploading or downloading of data, a network bandwidth of 25Mbps and above is recommended.

Caution

● Please run DentalScan on Windows System.
● Please use an NVIDIA graphics card to gain optimal scanning efficiency.

CPU	Intel® Core™ i7 or above
Memory	16G or higher for EX Series 32G or above for MIX Series/EXPro(H)
GPU	NVIDIA Independent Graphic Card, GTX 1060 or above
Display resolution	1920 × 1080 or above
OS	Windows 10 (64 bits only)
Scanner port	USB 3.0 or above

Note

● The disk on which the package is installed must have more than 2GB of space remaining.

● The disk on which the order is stored needs to have more than 20GB of space remaining.

Check the configuration¶

Windows 10 users can check the configuration through following steps:

1 From the taskbar, search System Configuration.

2 Right-click the computer icon and choose Properties.

3 Choose Device > System > About to see the system configuration.

The user can see the configuration of the graphics card by following the steps:

1 Click on Search and enter Control Panel.

2 Choose Control Panel > System > Device Manager > Display Adapter to see the configuration of the graphics card.
