Preparation¶
Ensuring the sufficiency of the scan
- The objects must be stationary.
- The object surfaces should have geometry or texture features.
- It is not recommended for the object surfaces to be black, transparent, or reflective.
- The objects should be uniformly lit.
- There should be enough space around the objects for scanning.
If the objects do not meet the above requirements, please make the following preparations:
Transparent, glossy, reflective, or dark objects
It is recommended to select IR Adaptive mode and adjust the brightness accordingly. If the model data quality is poor, you can use washable or vanishing scanning spray.
Thin, flat, or objects with repetitive features
It is recommended to select IR Adaptive mode or Laser HD mode, and attach markers. After attaching the markers, it becomes easier to identify different regions, enabling faster scanning of larger areas and accurate surface recognition.
For sticking markers
- Markers should be attached randomly but spaced evenly.
- Markers required in the common area are not less than 4.
- Ensure the camera can capture at least 4 markers within normal scanning range.
- Do not attach markers on a highly curved surface.
- Do not use broken or incomplete markers.
- Do not use greasy, dusty, or dirty markers.
