Scan Mode¶
- Characteristics: infrared speckle, supports texture, point distance range 0.5 mm ~ 10.0 mm.
- Scenarios: scanning of large objects with texture and features; supports outdoor scanning.
- Application:
- Murals, sculpture, ancient architecture, and other large-scale art and cultural artifacts.
- Architecture and quality control in manufacturing.
- Crime scene documentation and other evidence collection and digitization.

- Align: marker, features, texture, global markers and hybrid alignment.
Note
- Texture is applied by default.
- Only in the rapid modes and when texture is disabled, the option to enable the Range Indicator Box is available. When the Range Indicator Box is enabled, the scanner will project a green box and center point onto the objects.
- Characteristics: infrared laser, point distance range 0.5 mm ~ 10.0 mm. Rapid laser scanning, adaptive to surface materials like black, reflective, etc.
- Scenarios: it offers high resolution to reliably scan complex objects with various surface types.
- Application:
- Rapid model data acquisition for large-scale industrial applications such as automotive, aerospace, and maritime industries.
- Aerospace, industrial design, reverse engineering.
- Rapid model data acquisition for large-scale industrial applications such as automotive, aerospace, and maritime industries.
- Align: marker and global markers.
Note
Only in the rapid modes and when texture is disabled, the option to enable the Range Indicator Box is available. When the Range Indicator Box is enabled, the scanner will project a green box and center point onto the objects.
- Characteristics: blue lasers, supports texture, point distance range 0.05 mm ~ 3.0 mm. You can choose the feature alignment without using markers. This improves scanning speed while also enhancing the accuracy of the scanned data.
- Scenarios: mainly used for scanning small objects or complex objects with various surface types. It has high material adaptability and does not require adhesive markers.
- Application:
- Quality inspection such as part detection, plastic molding, additive manufacturing.
- Aerospace, industrial design, reverse engineering.
