FAQ

Why can't the device connect to the software after being connected via Ethernet, or why can't the PC access the Internet?

Answer: This may be caused by a conflict between the Ethernet and Wi-Fi adapter priorities. You need to adjust the network adapter priority manually.

Here are the steps to set network adapter priority in Windows 10/11:

Step 1: Open Network Connections

  1. Press Win + R to open the Run dialog box.
  2. Type ncpa.cpl and press Enter to open the Network Connections window.

Step 2: Open TCP/IP Properties for the Network Adapter

  1. Locate the network adapter you want to configure (e.g., Ethernet, Wi-Fi).
  2. Right-click the adapter icon and select Properties.
  3. In the list, select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click the Properties button below.
  4. In the new window, click Advanced... to open Advanced TCP/IP Settings.

Step 3: Configure Interface Metric (Priority)

  1. In the Advanced TCP/IP Settings window, uncheck Automatic metric.

  2. Enter a value in the Interface metric field:

    • Lower values indicate higher priority.
    • For example, a value of 10 takes precedence over a value of 20.
  3. Click OK to save the settings.

Note

You can verify the priority via the command:
