Scanning

Preview / Scan / Pause

You can always switch in these 3 status with the button on the scanner, or click the icon in the software. The basic order is: Preview > Scan > Pause.

Description
Preview To preview the scanning effect but not save the scanned data. You can modify the scan parameters according to the preview.
Scan To start scanning and save the scanned data. During scanning, make sure the scanner faces the object directly and keep a proper distance according to the prompt in the software to scan from all angles and finish scanning. During scanning, you can adjust the brightness according to the environment brightness or color of the object.
Pause To pause scanning. You can edit the scanned data.

You can press and hold the device scan button to bring up the interface menu, and then use the and buttons on the scanner to select functions.

Description
Delete your scan Select delete your scan and press the scan button on the scanner to delete the current scanned data.
Local enlarged view In laser scan mode, select local enlarged view and press the scan button on the scanner to enable this function. To exit the local view mode quickly, bring up the interface menu again and follow the above steps.
Quick calibration If scanning accuracy drops or the alignment error prompts frequently during the scanning, select quick calibration in the menu and press the scan button on the scanner to switch to the quick calibration interface for calibration.
Fitting view Select fitting view and press the scan button on the scanner to center the data on the screen at an appropriate size.
Full screen Select full screen and press the scan button on the scanner to switch to the full-screen mode.
Exit Select exit and press the scan button on the scanner to exit the interface menu.

Generate point cloud

After scanning, you can click on the right panel to generate a point cloud, and edit the scanned data.

Note

The time it takes to generate a point cloud depends on the data size of your project and the hardware configuration of your PC.
