Calibration

Note

Calibration is done on the device, without the need to connect to FreeScan Omni software.

A total of 6 different directions need to be used for calibration.

Calibration Entry:

  • In the control center, tap .
  • In the control center, tap Settings > My Omni > Calibration.
  • On the homepage, tap .

Steps

  1. Please take out the calibration board, and place it on a flat surface.

  2. Tap Calibration and scan the calibration board barcode to verify if the calibration board matches the device.

    Note

    This process can be disabled in Settings > General > Scan and Identify Calibration Board Code.

  3. Tap to begin calibration. During the calibration process, slowly move the scanner according to the instruction until it aligns with the target position.

    Note

    The default view is Three Views. Tap to switch to Single View.

    Caution

    • Do not move the calibration board during the calibration process.
    • If the scanner shows red, it means it is too far from the target position. Please move the scanner closer to the target until the color changes to green. When it is green, keep the scanner stable.
  4. After completing the calibration, please store the calibration board properly.

Note

  • If calibration fails, please start over from the first step.
  • During calibration, ensure that there are no other markers around the board to avoid affecting calibration accuracy.
  • If you still cannot successfully calibrate after multiple attempts, please contact the supplier or technical support.
