Project Alignment¶
This function combines scanned data from multiple project files within the current project group to create a complete 3D model, significantly improving data completeness.
Steps¶

Enter Project Alignment
- Ensure that your project group contains two or more projects.

When the scanning is paused, tap the
Alignment.
Note
Make sure the current project has finished scanning, as you cannot continue scanning after alignment.

Select a Project for Alignment

Select a project to be aligned.
Note
Projects that have been completed for alignment will not be displayed in the project list.

Tap Confirm.

Perform Project Alignment
- The software will automatically perform alignment by default:
- Use common markers for auto alignment.
- If there are fewer than three common markers, the software will automatically switch to feature points for alignment.
- Check the alignment results.
- Perform subsequent operations as needed:
- Add Alignment: If you need to add more projects for alignment, tap
Add Alignment.
- Manual Alignment: If the auto alignment results are not satisfactory, tap
Manual Alignment.
- Add New Project: If there is missing data, tap the top left New to perform a new scan. After completion, you can align again.
- Add Alignment: If you need to add more projects for alignment, tap
- The software will automatically perform alignment by default:

Merge Scan data
If the alignment result is satisfactory, tap the Merge button and the software will optimize the merged data.
Manual Alignment¶
If the auto alignment results are not satisfactory, you can align the projects manually.

Select Alignment Method
- After the auto alignment is finished, tap
Manual Alignment.
- Choose
Marker Alignment or
Point Alignment.
Note
- Markers are used for alignment by default.
- Changing the alignment method will clear the selected markers or points.
- After the auto alignment is finished, tap

Select Markers/Points
- Double-click to select at least three markers or points.
- Once the quantity is met, tap Confirm. The software will perform alignment based on your selection.
