Project Groups and Projects¶
Each time a new scan is started, the software automatically creates a new project group, which by default contains one project. You can add one or more projects as needed.
A project group is a collection of multiple projects, and it can represent a complete project, such as scanning a statue, a machine, or a scene.
A project is an independent unit within a project group, and each project can independently set scanning parameters, usually corresponding to a specific part or different angles of the scanned object. For example, when scanning a statue, multiple projects can be created to correspond to the front, back, and detailed parts of the statue.
