Quick Measurement

After performing a 3D scan of a ball bar, you can create spherical features from the scan data and compare them with the values of the ball bar to verify the accuracy of the device.

Steps:

  1. Double-tap the scan data and select a portion of points on the mesh model to fit a sphere and create spherical feature 1.

    Note

    • After creation, the coordinates of the sphere center (X, Y, Z) and the sphere diameter will be displayed.
    • Tap to reset the spherical feature.

  2. Double-tap the scan data to create spherical feature 2.

  3. After creating two spherical features, the distance between the sphere centers and the differences in the X, Y, Z coordinates of the sphere centers will be calculated automatically.
