Scan Markers

Scanning markers refers to the collection the markers. By collecting such markers, the markers data of an object can be quickly obtained.

Note

  • In this mode, no laser lines are emitted during scanning.
  • Continual scanning or rescanning can be done after importing the global markers generated by a third party.
  • After the markers are scanned, users can switch to scan mesh mode to continue scanning.
  1. Select Scan Markers.
  2. Click on the right of the panel or press the scan button on the device to enter preview scanning. The user can check the scanning performance and adjust parameters.
  3. Click on the right and the tracker starts to scan the markers.
  4. You can check the available markers on the interface.
  5. Change the scanning perspective (move the traker or the scanned object) and click to start scanning other markers. The software will automatically align the new markers with the former ones.
  6. Click to finish scanning and optimize the markers.

    Note

    You can go to > General Settings to choose real-time scanning or still photography for scanning markers in trak mode.

    • If you choose the real-time scanning, simply click on and the traker will automatically capture the markers within the field of view.
    • If you choose the still photography, you can follow the steps mentioned above to capture markers. Repeat step 2 to step 5 to capture all the markers.

  7. After finishing global markers scanning, click to save data, or you can choose scan mesh to continue.

  8. When choosing scan mesh, click or press the scan button on the scanner to start.
  9. After scanning, click to save the data.

Caution

You can import markers and then scan mesh, or you can scan mesh after scanning the markers.

  1. Select Scan Markers.
  2. Click on the right of the panel or press the scan button on the device to enter preview scanning to adjust parameters.
  3. Start scanning. Click on the right or press the scan button on the scanner to start scanning.
  4. After scanning, click on the right to optimize the markers.
  5. Click to save data, or the user can choose scan mesh to continue.
  6. When choosing scan mesh, click or press the scan button on the scanner to start.
  7. After scanning, click to save the data.
