Scan Mesh

Through this scan mode, mesh data can be quickly obtained.

Caution

• Please place markers on the object before scanning.

• If you need to scan outdoors in strong light, please install a filter on the UE Nova as shown in the following illustration before scanning for better scanning experience. After scanning is complete, remove the filter from the UE Nova and store it properly for future use.

  

Steps

1. (Optional) Switch the scan mode to Scan Mesh.

2. (Optional) Click or press the middle button on the tracker to preview scanning. You can check the scanning performance and adjust parameters.

   Note

   • The data scanned at this time is not automatically saved and is only used for viewing the scanning effect.
   • Preview can be disabled by clicking in the top-right corner of the interface. Once disabled, you can skip the preview step.

3. Click or press the middle button on the tracker to scan.

4. Click or press the middle button to pause scanning; click or press the middle button again to resume scanning.

5. After scanning, click to save the data.

Add New Global Markers

When the markers are not fully scanned in Photogrammetry, you can choose Add New Global Markers in Scan Mesh to scan new global markers.
