ABO report

An ABO report is a case record that includes facial and intraoral photographs, allowing the examiner to accurately diagnose and observe treatment outcomes.

To make the ABO report accessible, you need to meet the following conditions:

  • The order type is orthodontics.
  • The intraoral data is imported.
  • Finish Smile Face and Closed Mouth Face scanning.
  • Finish oral scan model and facial models alignment, and Closed Mouth Face and Smile Face alignment.

Interface

You can switch the model data through the timeline.

Operation Description
Switch to another model Drag the cursor to the node under the target model name .

It is used to preview the placement of feature plane on the model.

Caution

Adjust the model in the preview view will not move the feature planes. For adjusting feature planes, see Three views.

Icon Name Description
Lock/Unlock Locked State: When in the locked state, the three views shows Locked. At this time, adjusting the three-view model will automatically realign the model in the preview view.
Unlocked State: When in the unlocked state, the three views shows Unlocked. At this time, adjusting the three-view model will not change the model in the preview view, and its feature surfaces will move.
Reset View Cancel all operations, restore the model to the initial location
Zoom In/Zoom Out Zoom in/Zoom out the preview or the three views

The three views are used to adjust the positions of feature planes on the model.
The blue and red dotted lines in the three views are the projection lines of the median plane and the Frankfort horizontal plane respectively.
Adjust the model of one of the views in the three views, and the models in the other two views and the feature plane of the preview will change.

Steps

  1. Model Adjustment: On the Timeline, switch between displayed models and assess whether feature planes need to be adjusted.

  2. Feature Plane Adjustment: Use the Three-View on the right side to adjust the feature planes, and preview the changes in the Preview View.

    The feature planes include the Median Sagittal Plane1 (red one) and the Frankfort horizontal2 (blue one).

  3. Generate Report: Click the Generate Report button at the bottom right of the interface.

  4. ABO Report Review: Review the ABO report and proceed with the related actions.

    Name Description
    Save Image As Select a folder to save all the images of ABO report.
    Export PDF Report Export the report to your local storage.

  1. The median sagittal plane (or median plane) describes the plane that divides the torso into equal left and right parts. 

  2. The Frankfort horizontal plane is an imaginary line from the bottom of the eye socket to the top of the ear opening.
