Before you start

Caution

Please wear disposable medical gloves during scanning for your hand hygiene and safety.

  • Ensure a secure and stable connection between the scanner and the tripod.

  • Ensure that the lens is free of scratches or damage.

  • Ensure that the scanner is successfully connected and plugged in.

  • Do not touch the lens directly with your fingers lest fingerprints be left to affect data collection.

Disinfection

  • Wipe the scanner and the tripod with medical gauze soaked with 70%-75% ethanol solution.

  • If there are stains on the lens, use a lens cleaning cloth to gently wipe the lens.

  • In order to track mandibular movements, markers need to be attached to the teeth. Please wipe the markers with alcohol swabs soaked with 75% ethanol solution before use.

Guide for the cleaning and sterilization of Jaw Motion Tracker

Rinsing: After removing the Jaw Motion Tracker from the patient's mouth, peel off the markers, and immediately rinse it under running water for at least 1 minute to initially remove surface contaminants. Manual cleaning is recommended, and the recommended water temperature for cleaning is 15℃~30℃.

Soaking: Immerse the rinsed Jaw Motion Tracker in an enzymatic cleaner. The recommended ratio of cleaner to water is 1:100-200, and soaking for at least 10 minutes.

Cleaning: During the soaking process, gently stir the solution by "rotating" the liquid to further clean the Jaw Motion Tracker until the soaking is completed.

Rinsing: Rinse the residual enzymatic cleaner on the Jaw Motion Tracker with distilled water for at least 1 minute to ensure there are no contaminants on the surface of the Jaw Motion Tracker.

Drying: Wipe the Jaw Motion Tracker with a clean lint-free cloth and ensure its surface is dry.

Sterilization: Seal the Jaw Motion Tracker in a high-temperature and high-pressure sterilization bag and place it in a sterilizer for sterilization. (Sterilization parameters: Pre-vacuum type, temperature: 134℃, relative pressure: 205.8 kPa, time: 4 minutes, drying time: 30 minutes; or lower exhaust type, temperature: 121℃, relative pressure: 102.9 kPa, time: 30 minutes, drying time: 30 minutes. The sterilization process must be vacuumed.)

Note

Please clean and sterilize the Jaw Motion Tracker before and after each use.

Rinsing: Rinse contaminants from the Featured Shell with distilled water for at least 1 minute.

Drying: Wipe the Featured Shell with a clean lint-free cloth and ensure its surface is dry.

Sterilization: Seal the Featured Shell in a high-temperature and high-pressure sterilization bag and place it in a sterilizer for sterilization.

Note

Please clean and sterilize the Featured Shell before use. This product is single-use only and must be discarded after use.

Mode Selection

Before scanning, choose either Handheld Mode or Fixed Mode from the bottom-left corner of the interface, or adjust the mode during scanning.

Note

Face Scan module operates in fixed mode by default. Mandibular Movement Trajectory Tracking and Optimal Jaw Relation modules operate in handheld mode by default.

  • Handheld Mode: The doctors hold the scanner to scan the patient's face across at a constant speed.
  • Fixed Mode: Place the scanner on a stable surface, ensuring the lens is aligned with the patient's face. Instruct the patient to slowly and steadily rotate their head from side to side and up to down.
