Feature

Click Feature in the top navigation bar to enter the feature module, where you can use assisted feature creation or directly create features.

Created features can be used for dimension or selected as the datum for measuring parallelism or perpendicularity.

Basic Concepts

Concept	Description
Reference feature	Auxiliary geometric features created using various feature creation methods, and are used to assist in the creation of measured features.
Feature extraction	Extract measured points for fitting on the measured model based on reference features, and fit measured features based on the extracted points.
Measured feature	Use feature extraction, fit creation method, etc. to calculate features on actual scan data on the measured model.
Feature pair	A reference feature and a corresponding extracted measured feature. The methods for generating feature pairs: Right-click on a feature group that contains a reference feature in the left tree view, and select Extract Measured Feature for automatic extraction, or select Pair Measured Features for manual pairing.
