Quick Measurement¶
Click Quick Measurement in the top navigation bar to enter the quick measurement module, where you can perform ball bar inspection, which automatically fits sphere features, and calculates the diameter of two spheres as well as the sphere spacing error.
Note
Before using the quick measurement function, please import the measured model.
Ballbar Inspection¶
-
In the Quick Measurement Tool bar, click
Ballbar Inspection to open the corresponding window, and select the measured data:
- If the measured model is a standard ballbar, you can click
Auto Inspection, and the software will automatically calculate the coordinates, diameters and sphere spacing error, generating labels in the 3D scene, while prompting that "
Automatic measurement success".
- If the measured model is not a ball bar, it is recommended that you click on the model in the 3D scene to manually select two measurement points, and the software will automatically fit two sphere features and calculate all corresponding data.
Note
- The first measured model in the left tree view is selected by default.
- Support editing the percentage for removing outliers.
- After clicking
Auto Inspection, if it prompts that "
Automatic measurement failed", please check if the model to be measured is a ball bar, or perform manual measurement.
- For manual measurement, Sphere 1 is chosen by default, then it will automatically switch to Sphere 2 after clicking on the model to select the first measurement point.
- If the measured model is a standard ballbar, you can click
-
Click Confirm to save sphere features, and two
measured sphere objects will be displayed in the
feature module in the left-side tree view, and the
linear dimension object will be displayed in the
dimension module.
