Intraoral photogrammetry¶
Intraoral photogrammetry is used to capture the positions of the implants. It is a fast and precise tool for measuring implant positions using photogrammetry technology. With implant photogram, the intraoral scanning process is simple and easy, substantially increasing the efficiency of dental implant and restoration.
- Coded scanbody: The high-precision coded scanbody, specially designed for edentulous implants, is used to locate and calculate the position and direction of implants in the three-dimensional model.
- Cap scanbody: Used with coded scanbody, cap scanbody is designed specially for scanning the soft tissues in immediate implantation cases and immediate restoration cases.
Note
- Aoralscan Elite series devices are required for intraoral photogrammetry.
- A big tip is suggested.
- Regular replacement is necessary to maintain accuracy requirements. The recommended usage of a coded scanbody or a cap scanbody is within 300 times.
Suggested scanning process¶
-
Edentulous implantation
Coded scanbody is suggested.
Both upper jaw and lower jaw are working jaws and the suggested scanning process is:
② Scan the temporary denture (optional)
③ Scan the bite
④ Upper jaw
⑤ Lower jaw (same with the upper jaw)
⑥ Align the bite
