GD & T

Click Dimension in the top navigation bar to enter the dimension module, where you can measure flatness, straightness, circularity, cylindricity, parallelism and perpendicularity.

Flatness / Straightness / Circularity / Cylindricity

Note

Please ensure there exists at lease one measured feature of the specified feature.

  1. In the GD & T toolbar, clickflatness / straightness / circularity / cylindricity to open the corresponding window.
  2. Select the feature to be measured, and set the upper and lower tolerance.
    Note
    The upper tolerance must be greater than the lower tolerance, and the value range is 0 to 100.
  3. Click Apply, the software will automatically calculate the distance and deviation between the two features and display labels in the 3D scene based on the tolerance: Green indicates that the deviation is within the tolerance range, while red indicates that the deviation is outside the tolerance range.
  4. The dimension object will be displayed in the dimension module in the left-side tree view.

Parallelism / Perpendicularity

Note

Please ensure there exists at lease one measured feature of the specified feature and a datum.

  1. In the GD & T toolbar, clickparallelism / perpendicularity to open the corresponding window.
  2. Select the feature to be measured and the datum, and set the upper and lower tolerance.
    Note
    The upper tolerance must be greater than the lower tolerance, and the value range is 0 to 100.
  3. Click Apply, the software will automatically calculate the distance and deviation between the two features and display labels in the 3D scene based on the tolerance: Green indicates that the deviation is within the tolerance range, while red indicates that the deviation is outside the tolerance range.
  4. The dimension object will be displayed in the dimension module in the left-side tree view.
